A Decade of Growth and Achievement
Under the leadership of the Bharana Samithi, the Society realized its long-cherished dream — the construction of its own headquarters building in Thiruvananthapuram. It also expanded its reach by establishing branch offices in Neyyattinkara, Attingal, and Nedumangad, ensuring better accessibility and services for members across the district.
The committee's tenure has been marked by a commitment to modernization, diversification, and member welfare. In the past decade, several new ventures were launched — including the Sahakarana Super Bazar, Electronics Bazar, School Bazar, and Neethi Medical Store — creating new avenues of service for members and the public.
Through visionary initiatives and financial prudence, the Society achieved state-wide recognition for operational excellence. It was a proud moment when the Society received the Kerala State Government Award for the Best Employees' Co-operative Society — a testament to the leadership, teamwork, and member support that drive its success.
Commitment to Welfare and Service
The Bharana Samithi's vision extends beyond financial management. It has consistently introduced welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the lives of members and their families — not just by meeting financial needs, but also by supporting their professional, personal, and family well-being.
From health insurance and accident protection to education assistance and social initiatives, the committee has ensured that every decision aligns with the cooperative principle of "service through care and solidarity."
These initiatives reflect the Society's continuous focus on inclusive development, where progress is measured not only by financial growth but also by the happiness and welfare of every member family.
Looking Ahead
With a forward-looking approach and strong teamwork, the Bharana Samithi continues to steer the Police Co-operative Society towards greater achievements. The committee remains committed to its founding principles — transparency, trust, and member welfare — ensuring that the Society continues to serve as a model of excellence and integrity in the co-operative sector.
